This week, I asked all of the teachers to have a real think of anyone who has gone over and above with their learning recently . This really was a difficult decision for the teachers to make, because so many of our children have impressed us with their effort, resilience and determination this term.
Nursery : Jonah , for outstanding reading . Lola, for the best pictures.James, for always trying his best and Niamh, for the best story recalls.
Reception : Lucie : She has done her work every single day and has done some fantastic writing even though she is using her left hand (she has broken her right). She has been a superstar from the first day back.
Y1 : Robert : He has been working incredibly hard so far in lockdown, particularly on his phonics and writing. Robert, has really embraced remote learning and is engaging well. I always look forward to seeing the photos and videos mum regularly emails and uploads to Purple Mash.
Y2: Thomas : He has worked hard with his Purple Maths tasks, in particular having multiple attempts determined to keep beating his personal best with a suffix challenge.
Y3:Frankie, for always working hard with all of his learning.
Y4: Bailey : She has accessed all her home learning and gone over and above. I have seen photos and videos of her completing work and Mrs Cosgrove has emailed saying how amazing her French is too! She seems to be working really hard , we are very proud of her.
Y5: Ryan: For always working incredibly hard .
Y6: Ciara: For always working extremely hard with a very mature attitude.
