Congratulations to the children awarded their Self Manager certificate for their learning behaviour this week.
REC - Gabriel for always trying his best with any challenges and always thinking carefully and looking for a solution to solve a problem!
Y1 - Kamsi who follows instructions and listens well so that she is able to self-manage her learning
Y2 - William for making sure he's checking his own work for all of his success criteria, and making sure he learns steps and strategies that will help in maths.
Y3 - Ann-Treasa due to her being consistently proactive in keeping organised and pushing herself to new heights in her work
Y4 – Jessica struggled to grasp a certain maths concept, but she went home and diligently worked on her own, and now she has a great understanding of it!
Y5 – Sophie is always very organised and has managed herself well since having a pot on her ankle. She has started her own group being responsible for the displays in the classroom while she has had to stay inside at playtimes.
Y6 - Amelia is growing in independence, always ready to learn, tries hard at school and home, knows what she needs to do to make progress and has a positive attitude and good behaviour so that she makes the most of all her learning opportunities.
Whilst at our School our children are offered a broad and balanced curriculum, however we also prioritise creating a positive culture whereby the necessary personal attributes of a successful learner are openly discussed, reinforced and celebrated so as to foster and imbed these. In doing so we seek to develop our pupils as lifelong learners. Our learning behaviours support us to guide pupils in how successful learners approach new thinking, commit learning to memory, relate to others and communicate their ideas. Through this approach we seek to prepare our pupils for the next stages in their education and beyond.
This week our focus learning behaviour is Team Worker
A good Team Worker works well with others
