Art Show 2022
We had a brilliant end to our year with St Joseph's festival of Arts. All classes showcased their work and invited parents to come and see.
Nursery and Reception shared their wonderful African Art.
Y1 shared their "Herd of Sheffield" elephants, where they had been inspired by "Lizzie" the famous elephants who worked for the steelworks during WW1.
Y2 had our taste buds flowing with their delicious chocolate making. They designed and created chocolate bars and wrappers all inspired by their novel this term "Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory".
Y3 took us back in time and created a pyramid of artwork all based upon their topic the Egyptians.
Y4 impressed us all with their knowledge of the significant event in History the sinking of the Titanic. They wowed us with their 3D ship models, clay models and fantastic sketches.
Y5 really gave us something to think about with their "Fast Fashion" topic. Their sewing skills were phenomenal, creating upcycled clothes for a fashion show to promote reusing materials.
Y6 celebrated the kingdom of Benin and shared some wonderful African
