This week the weather stopped us from participating in Welly Wednesday but it did not stop us from completing some active learning. Instead we went into the hall and worked on our numbers. In pairs the children hunted for hidden numbers and then set a challege for their partners to complete based on the number they found. We had some interesting challenge ideas from five gallops to eight blinks, ten star jumps to four claps.  We then came together to share our ideas and have a go at the challenges with the whole class. A very busy afternoon in Reception.
